The fire station is staying open. We beat the closure plans and forced them to protect our local emergency services. Stay alert and keep checking in because we will continue to watch over the station to ensure this decision holds.

The silence from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service remains total but we are not backing down. Contact your local councillor this morning and demand they open a public inquiry into this closure plan.

Absolute madness closing a station in a growing area. They have no idea what they are doing.
keep it open please. we rely on them.
Living in Kirton all my life this is vital service. If a fire starts every second counts and we cant afford to wait for engines coming from further away.
SAVE THE STATION!!! stupid decision.
This is ridiculous. We need our local fire coverage and the guys do a great job. Dont shut it down!
