This a bid to prevent the world of theater from losing yet another great Broadway production to the sands of time. 'Curtains' is due to close on June 29th, and I hope that others will join me in requesting that a performance be recorded and made available on DVD (like Sondheim's "Into the Woods" was recorded in 1991, or "Fosse" in 2002). Considering the critical acclaim the production has recieved, the adoring comments posted by audience members on the show's website, and the fact that 'Curtains' myspace page has 641 Friends (add to this figure fans who would buy a DVD but do not use myspace), recording this wonderful show would be a plausible commercial venture, as well as a service to posterity. Don't let this wonderful work of art be lost. Sign the petition to save 'Curtains'!
