Please help me to save the 4, innocent feral cats that have called The Higher Ground Church "home" for almost 5 years. The church wants to have them all removed from the property which means sure death for these sweet little lives. These cats have all been through the TNR (Trap Neuter Return), program and have never caused any damage nor hurt anyone. If we as a community allow this to happen we could all suffer consequences, ie: a growth in the rodent population, plus the feral cats from the college next door will move in, multiply and migrate into our neighborhoods. The church ferals have established a perimeter around the church as their territory, and have been successful in preventing any of this from happening to date. I have offered to build them their own customized feeding and sleeping shelters to keep them from wandering the property as well. These cats have truly been a blessing in disguise!
