7th Heaven Animal Rescue Trust are being persecuted by the Northern Ireland Planning Service who are trying to say that they are operating an animal sanctuary out of their home outbuilding and are threatening to take them to court and stop this important fostering work. 7th Heaven fosters animals - mainly cats from their outbuildings at their home. This is all done voluntarily with no wages or expenses being claimed or paid. No money is taken for the utility bills for the area where the animals live as it is part of a private home. The animals do not run free or cause nuisance. No callers come to the home of the organisers to view the animals without an appointment. The animals are very well cared for. How many of us have taken in a stray animal and kept it until a home is found
The Planning service of NI cannot be allowed to abuse their power in this way and force animal loving people to make unnecessary planning applications. Planning Service NI cannot quote the law that they say has been broken. They have also hinted that they would seek a judicial review of this case which seems to mean that a judge could make a ruling as to how many animals you are permitted to keep in your own home! Sign this petition and past it on to all your animal loving friends and show support for 7th heaven animal rescue and anyone of us that takes in stray animals to our homes! This effects us all!
The Northern Ireland Planning Service thinks they can bully volunteers into silence but 250 of you have already proven them wrong. This abuse of power stops when we refuse to back down. Keep the pressure on these bureaucrats until they drop their campaign against 7th Heaven.

Why go after people trying to help? The government has way bigger problems to deal with than someone looking after cats. Total waste of time and money.

My cats came from a place just like this. If not for people opening their homes these animals would be dead on the street. Stop the harassment.

This is honestly ridiculous. They are doing a good thing for these poor animals. Leave them alone!

Unbelievable. They want to use tax money to stop volunteers saving lives? NI Planning Service need to get a grip.
