The students of August Martin High School created a project to redecorate the interior of the school the project Operation Skittles came to life with the help of 200 5pointz artist and volunteers and in the past few weeks August Martin High School was repainted, all after school programs were cut and our teachers who actually taught were relocated. We ask your support as students, teachers, parents, neighbors, and the community to support the movement to get our programs and directors back. your voice matters and 1000 voices is more impactful than just one.

I am currently organizing the documentation regarding the loss of after school programs and the sudden teacher reassignments to present to the district office. We are drafting a formal request for a meeting with the administration to discuss these specific personnel changes. Updates on their response will be posted here as soon as I receive them.

School should be for the students and politics and egos should by left at the door.
As a proud alum of August Martin I'm sadden of my schools current state. Our children deserve the same opportunities for an excellent education that August Martin was known for. Suport our children, #saveAugustMartin
August Martin has made many in this city what they are today. Taking away what founded some of today's lawyers, doctors, business owners, police officers, teachers etc would be a disservice to the community. Let's not take away another place where young adults can come together to make something of themselves. #SaveAugustMartin
Save August Martin paintings and programs. It is because of things like this done at my school that i can say i go everyday to work hard and im a published author ❗❗
SAVE AMHS!!! Students love the paintings, it makes them feel at home and inspired . Save all school activities.Hype team was having fundraisers to help out the school.
We need more publicity than this... I didn't even see this until I was being noisy... Tag August Martin friends
