Tulip Time officials have formally reversed their decision and the Right to Life float will be included in the parade. We are now reviewing the updated event guidelines to ensure this policy shift remains consistent in future years.
Tulip Time Officials have decided to deny entry of the Right to Life float this year for the first time because of its issue oriented entry. Please stand with me and let Tulip Time officials know that part of the heritage of this community is its religious and cultural roots. Instead of honoring our religious heritage, Tulip Time removes this float and has added beer tents, carnival rides, and tulipalooza which have no cultural identity with this festival's past. Stand with me and let your Voice be heard!
The petition threshold of 2500 signatures has been met. I am currently preparing a formal letter to the Tulip Time board to request a meeting regarding their decision on entry criteria.

This is just wrong. Tulip time should be about tradition not ditching our values for beer tents.

Very disappointed in the board of directors. Our community is being changed for the worse.

Whatever happened to free speech? Seems like they just want to appease progressives and ignore the folks who started this festival.

Keep the parade focused on our local roots. Not interested in more carnival rides taking over.

Ridiculous to keep them out. The float has been part of our history for years.
