Woolworths is claiming that the current consumers are paying too much for their prescrioption medications and OTC. the government regulates all the prescription medications so its not that they can do any better. They CANNOT provide anywhere close to the quality of health care that the australian people are recieving right now. They are not concerned with healthcare, all they are after is making money themselves and in slaving pharmacists (who have put in the hard yards and achieved their qualifications), and are working hard everyday and educating themselves regularly to provide the best care possible.

Woolies barely manages to keep the self serve checkouts running half the time. Do we really want them handing out our heart meds too? Keep it local.

My local chemist knows me and my kids by name. You dont get that kind of care at a supermarket checkout line. Please leave this alone.

CORPORATE GREED PURE AND SIMPLE. They just want to drive the small guys out of business and then hike the prices up later. STOP THEM.

Pharmacists actually study for years to do what they do. Supermarket staff are just there to stack shelves. Not the same thing at all.
