The board has officially withdrawn the proposal for the visitor centre. I am physically drained by this fight but relieved that our greenspace remains protected. We need to stay alert to ensure these grounds are never threatened this way again.

123 trees?? Thats insane. You dont cut down that many trees just to put in a building that nobody asked for. Keep the grounds peaceful like they are supposed to be.
This is a quiet place for people to reflect. We dont need a massive parking lot and a building ruining the whole vibe of the cemetery. Leave the green space alone!
STOP THE CONSTRUCTION. Seriously why does every patch of grass have to become a parking lot?
Ridiculous. My family has been visiting loved ones here for years and the nature is what makes it special. MPGC needs to listen to the people.
The cemetery is for remembering those we lost not for commercial projects. Keep the trees.

Totally against this. The beltline trail is one of the only nice spots left in the city. Dont pave over it.
