The Surrey County Council has officially reversed its decision to close our youth centres. I am grateful for your sustained commitment to protecting these essential resources for the community. We will remain vigilant to ensure that these facilities continue to serve our youth effectively.
To the elected members of Surrey County Council
We, the undersigned, oppose the proposed closure of the four youth & community centres in Spelthorne, Middlesex. These being Ashford, Leacroft & Thameside (Staines) & Sunbury.
Meetings with local representatives have commenced to discuss the future of the Ashford, Leacroft, Thameside, and Sunbury facilities. Your signatures remain a vital component in demonstrating the broad community opposition to these closures. Further updates regarding the council's formal response will follow as information becomes available.

These centres provide a safe place for kids to socialise. Essential service for parents who work full time. Bad idea.

KEEP THEM OPEN. These places keep teenagers off the streets and out of trouble. Dont be so short sighted.
