The momentum behind this petition has triggered a formal meeting with local planning commissioners to review current zoning restrictions. Legal counsel is drafting the proposed language for the ordinance change to present at that hearing.

I don’t understand the impediment, except the nanny nature of the state of Utah. Which is odd, because few populations embrace the outdoors , camping, and self sufficiency like the Beehive State
LITERALLY DONT GET THE PROBLEM. ITS JUST A STRUCTURE. LET US ENJOY THE MOUNTAINS.
Yurts are awesome and way better than a tent. Just let people build them already.
Ridiculous red tape. Yurts are the best way to camp in the winter.
My kids love the yurt life. Stop making everything so complicated for no reason.

We have been looking forward to some family time in this yurt for a long time! Please allow the yurts to continue so more people can appreciate the great outdoors!
