Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) Cuts Across Buckingham, VA.
A high-pressure natural gas pipeline to transport fracked gas from West Virginia to North Carolina is planned by Dominion Resources to cut across, Buckingham. The August 2015 plan shows that the pipeline will be as close as ½ - 1 mile from Light Of Truth Universal Shrine (LOTUS).
If the pipeline proposal is approved, then the natural environment, health and safety of those living in the area, and the service and mission of the Ashram will be seriously compromised because of construction that could last over a year and because of air, water, soil and sound pollution.
We are concerned that such a pipeline and its huge compressor will diminish the Ashram’s ability to continue serving the thousands of guests, friends and overnight guests who come here every year from around the world seeking a healthy, safe, and peaceful sanctuary in which to further their education, personal healing, and spiritual growth.

Do not put a gas pipeline near Yogaville. People from a radius of over a 1,000 miles have been coming there for decades for the beauty, peace and quiet of your state, spending money all along the way and referring it to their friends with great fondness. Frack somewhere else.
Yogaville is a sanctuary of peace for deeply spiritual people seeking to deepen same. I petition that the pipeline would be a serious threat to what Yogaville has been doing for people including myself for many years previous to now. Please no pipeline!!!
Yogaville is a resource to be guarded for all time, and Buckingham County itself is a treasure to be safeguarded from the potential hazards of methane gas leakage and explosions that are documented risks of this high pressure pipeline. BIG NO!
The construction of a pipeline would be detrimental to the point of destroying the peace and serenity of the Yogaville community and all that it means to its residents and thousands of visitors from across the entire globe.

I live in Yogaville, but am originally from the West Coast where this Pipline madness is also happening. I believe we all need to take a stand, all of us across the country to push back against the distruction of our homes and natural wilderness areas.
