I strongly oppose Winstanley Enterprises' plans to build a large biomass plant in the industrial park area of the community of North Springfield. As a Vermont resident, I am deeply concerned about the air and water pollution this plant will generate. I am troubled by the parades of trucks that will stream through downtown Springfield, congesting our roads and increasing air and noise pollution. I am also very concerned about the enormous amounts of water the plant will pull from our groundwater system. I do not want a new smokestack in Springfield. I want to move Springfield and our state toward clean renewable energy.

Enough with the noise and the trucks already. We dont need this in our backyard.
worried about our water supply. that much water usage is just irresponsible in this area.
No to the plant. My kids play in that park and I dont want them breathing that junk in.
KEEP SPRINGFIELD CLEAN! We moved here for the fresh air not to live right next to a giant smoke factory.
Who thought this was a good idea? The roads are already a mess without a million logging trucks going back and forth all day.
