Save Wheatland Woods Park
Wheatland Woods Park is in jeopardy of being sold for a single family home lot, taking away any hope of added recreation for Jackson Township residents. A court date has been set for September 11,2020 in the Lebanon County Courthouse at 2 pm. Wheatland Woods Park is ideally accessible to Kutztown, Rolling Hills, North Gate, Twin Maples, and Wheatland Manor. This Wooded Lot would be a great place for you and your family to enjoy green space, areas to play and have picnics and for recreation. There are many families with children and grandchildren of the residents in the surrounding community who need a safe place to access Recreation within walking distance. Wheatland Woods can add value to our community by adding access to Kutztown baseball field and playground. This 5.7 acre parcel was dedicated in 2014 as Recreation and Park as its intended purpose to improve the quality of life for all Jackson Township residents. We are asking all Jackson Township residents to please sign this petition to help us keep Wheatland Woods Park for its intended purpose of providing a small scale neighborhood park. Your help and interest in our growing community is greatly appreciated!
