To be frank, we need the Watering Hole. As a cross country runner at ZCHS I can say that without the Watering Hole I don't think I could continue. Last "July was the hottest July in recorded history" said, former cross country runner, Payton Greeson. What would Mr. Greeson have done without that water? Well he would be dehydrated that's for sure. Hydration is important.
We runners drink from that sweet pump everyday to stay hydrated and at peak performance. Former ZCHS Alumni and British guy Oliver Rigg is infuriated, "During my time as the face of the Zionsville Cross Country franchise from 2012-2016, the watering hole replenished my every need and forged me into the man I am today". If that doesn't bring a tear to your eye I don't know what will. Bring back the Watering Hole. Please. :'(

My daughter is in color guard and needs to refill her waterm during practice. Most students do when they are there for hours. By not having water that is easy to get to, you are putting our childrens health at risk. Would you rather fix the water or have a student die? Tell me what price you are will to put on the safety of our children.
This water hole is life sustaining. Without it our XC and track teams would not have the success they have enjoyed in recent years. The loss of this monument to Zionsville Distance's values would be a true tragedy indeed. Bring it back!
The watering hole is were every play drinks for xcountry, track and field. It is the only significant source of cold water for students. It is also a way of team bonding and a tradition. Without the waterhole we will not be able to go on.
Even bus drivers use the watering hole! It has routinely been over 100* inside the bus and we empty our water bottles while taking kids home after school. When a team wants to leave as soon as you pull up to the high school, this is where we get the energy and cold refreshing water to get back on that hot bus and drive safely.
Literally every sports kid would basically die without the waterhole, like I carry around a 30 pound tuba during marching band and I probably would have fainted a couple of times if I didn't have the water hole. Tl;dr tuba is heavy, I need water.

I know I told my team they were wasting 20% of their time at the watering hole, and I'm truly sorry for pulling it out with my bare hands. I will do anything in my power to bring it's purity and perfection back.
