Final supporters
There are proposals to lease a large part of the Royal Gunpowder Mills to PGL Holidays. While the site does need investment for renovation we believe that the current plans will see many of the facilities out of bounds to the public. It would also see Heritage Lottery Fund money going to renovate buildings which would then be for PGL's exclusive use.
We the undersigned call on the Royal Gunpowder Mills to halt the proposed development with PGL Holidays and start a full, public consultation on the future of our important heritage site.

The underhand way in which the now CEO/middleman was brought onto the Gunpowder Mills site is worrying. As a volunteer at the above the scale of PGL's land grab will destroy the Gunpowder Mills.
Fantastic piece of history it would be a sad loss
This a wonderful site full of history and some amazing wildlife. It is such a shame we could be loosing another historical site from England
this is a very important part of our history and should not be lost to private companies. we need the government to help keep this site of great importance going.

The Mills are a wonderful resource for visitors, schools and tourists. They provide an excellent insight into important history and this should be kept available for all to see, not just a select few.
