The Town of Ripon has officially granted us permission to stay in the Mustard Seed. We are still in shock that our home is safe and the threat of eviction is finally gone.

Our family is asking for your help; we need you to help us gain traction in getting the Town of Ripon WI to allow us to remain right here where we are at by signing this petition. Will you help us by giving us your signature?
We were given until August 1 to vacate; we need to act now and act quickly!
We built The Mustard Seed Tiny House following a dream, but after receiving an eviction notice from the Town of Ripon, WI we are faced with harsh realities of the untold stories of the Tiny House Movement. We couldn't have been happier living in such a pleasant and hidden location. You cannot see the tiny house from the road, it sits on several acres that the property owner has graciously allowed us to share with them.
My goal is to gather enough signatures to take to the town to hopefully have them make an exception to stay or grant us an extension to figure things out.
The Tiny House Movement is a movement of people much like ourselves, looking to better the land around us by having less of an impact on it. Looking to improve on community by pouring into it.

The momentum behind our home has reached a point I never thought possible when we first started this fight. Seeing so many people recognize the value in our way of life gives us real hope that we might actually be able to stay in this space we love.

Seeing one hundred people stand with us brings a massive amount of hope to our little home today. We were terrified that we would be facing this eviction notice alone, but this shows us that so many of you believe in our dream.

Rather than be penalized, this family should be commended for seeking to live sustainably and with such minimum impact on their surroundings. Please reconsider this drastic action against them and reserve government resources for more important matters
An opportunity is presented here to use common sense and compassion to resolve a political, financial and technical issue. This circumstance resolved fairly and cooperatively also gives Ripon Wi a chance to set the standard for fairness.
This family deserves to stay here. Laws, ordinances etc are meant to be changed especially those that are out dated. These tiny homes have provided many people the opportunity to actually afford a home during these difficult times. Wake up America. This is a good thing.
Please don't evict this family. I would live in a tiny home if I could afford one. It is very difficult to find affordable land to live on; most RV parks won't accept them. Please! This is a pastor's family. Thank you and God bless you.
Please consider allowing the Smith's to stay at their current location or grant an extension of time so they can determine a most appropriate next step. They have worked very hard for to realize their vision for the Mustard Seed House
We need sustainable housing solutions like this to ensure all Americans have a safe place to call home.

In a society that is consumed with more, bigger, and wastefulness, I think it is a shame that these people who are being resourceful and leaving a smaller footprint in the world are being punished. As a fellow Wisconsin citizen, I really hope they are allowed to stay.
