Anyone who has visited The Casa Hotel in Brighouse will know the hard work and determination the owners and the team have put in to create the fantastic bar, restaurant and functions that we all love. The business has seriously evolved from a poxy little pub to becoming one of the best venues in the area.
The expansion of the venue has created much needed employment and the list of local businesses who benefit from the busy weddings and functions held at the venue is immense. The potential demolition of the building is unnecessary and inappropriate and will effect a whole range of people and businesses if it went ahead. Surely the council should be encouraging an increase in employment and support for local businesses!!
The extension is of tasteful design and not damaging to the area whatsoever!

The Casa should be allowed to stay , it's a fine looking building now and has provided people with employment and the public with a place to relax and enjoy the environment . Let's look back to what it looked like before it was renovated , it was a run down drab public house that no one wanted to visit . This building has enhanced the area with its looks , entertainment and employment and brings money in to this down trodden town . I love eating here with my family we have spent many a happy birthday and anniversary here or just a coffee with a view . Council , open your eyes , we love this place , may the Casa remain because we have no where else as fine as this place to go to .
such a beautiful venue should not be pulled down! & so many people will lose their jobs! Does not make sense .
Please save this beautiful venue...we need more places like this...not less!

Went to a wedding here this summer and it is a lovely venue. Why on earth would anyone want to get rid of it. If the council want to build something why not on the derelict land opposite the venue instead?
