There are many schools that don’t have an art department. There are many schools that don’t have a drama class. This will change the school’s view on the need for the arts, and show it’s not just a distraction. As citizens, it is extremely important to contact officials, go to town meetings, and vote for the laws to save the arts in schools.

School is boring enough without taking away the only classes I actually look forward to. Keep the arts programs open.

I don't know what I would do without art. It's my passion and my escape. Art is just as important if not more so than the core classes.
