they officially dropped the plan to cut the 145 service so the bus stays exactly where it belongs in kilmac. im honestly overwhelmed by how many of you stepped up to back this. we definitely need to keep our eyes on the bus schedules moving forward but for now we …
We the undersigned are totally opposed to any attempts to cut the critical 145 bus from Kilmac. We are aware that Dublin Bus is currently exploring the option of terminating all 145 buses at Springfield cemetery in Bray, as a result there would be no bus service to Kilmacanogue. The 145 bus is a critical link for the village which came about after a lengthy campaign by the community and any attempt to remove it will be strongly opposed.
Removal of this service will provide no direct access from Bray to the quays/Heuston. Now with the changes to the quays it’s not like it’s feasible to drive directly either.

Total nightmare. We fought so hard to get this service and now they want to take it away again. Leave it alone.

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Dublin Bus are trying to isolate the village entirely. They dont care about the people who rely on this link.

This route is always packed so how is it not viable? Cutting it makes no sense at all.

Living in kilmac without this bus is impossible. I have to get to town for work every morning and there is literally no other way for me to get there.
