We the undersigned strongly object to the re-routing of the 353 bus service and the service 18 from Forest Hall

Updates

March 11, 2017

The quiet streets of Forest Hall have felt different since the rumors about the bus routes began circulating. I am currently gathering information from local transport officials to understand exactly how these changes will impact residents who rely on the 353 and 18 services every day. Please continue to offer your stories about how these routes serve your daily needs because your experiences provide the evidence we need to challenge this decision.

March 11, 2017

Seeing this groundswell of community concern confirms that these transit routes are vital to our daily lives. This momentum suggests that our local officials will need to acknowledge the reality of our transportation needs.

The bus service is really needed, not everyone has their own transport and it's a long walk to Benton or palmersville metro stations.

Many people rely on these services to get out and about, myself included. Don't fix what isn't broken to save a few pounds!

We need these buses they have already stopped the 353from going into. The airport I use this bus a lot you can depend on it and the 18 is the only bus to the Freeman hospital it nesesary we keep these buses not all of us have a car I'm retired so need them

Totally fed up we have no buses to go to hospital at North Tyneside rake lane or freeman . no good saying change at four lane ends .blot of people sick changing over buses stressful . forest hall is developing more and more houses buses been reduced not increased . traffic on this road is diabolical . this will increase more cars !

The bus service from this area is very poor, no bus direct to Rake Lane hospital, now there will be none to Freeman Road hospital. This is really unacceptable to everyone , it's no good suggesting it will be available at off peak times we need it throughout the day !

It is terrible that we are losing yet another bus service direct to another hospital we have already lost the 53 which when my mother was alive brought on added stress of getting to a hospital by herself how can you possibly justify takin yet another direst service away from an area that has a lot of pensioners pensioners who fought for our country it's just apauling
