Telemedicine in Colorado has increased access to care for millions of people during the pandemic.

The temporary provisions meant patients were able to see a physician from the comfort of their home, making it a much safer and more convenient option for those who face barriers such as distance (especially those in rural areas), transportation, or caretaker availability.

The temporary provisions made to the Medical Marijuana Program expired in July 2021. This means:

  • Telemedicine/Telehealth Doctor Certifications is now be prohibited.
  • Patients have lost the access to the care they need.
  • Patients with chronic conditions, who are immunocompromised and face barriers such as distance and transportation, will suffer the most.

Sign the petition today to ask Governor Polis to make Telemedicine/Telehealth a permanent option for patients in Colorado.
