we got the call and the tender process is officially cancelled so teapots cafe is staying open. thank you so much for backing this because we couldnt have saved our community space without all of you. now we can finally breathe and get back to business.

Please help us save the café for the benefit of the local community
Teapots cafe is at the heart of the community and supports people of all generations from toddlers to pensioners. The café has strong links with the recovery community where people recovering from addiction and alcohol problems can meet for fellowship and affordable food.
The café would like to continue in its current form but won't be able to under the new tender arrangements which we feel are totally unfair and unrealistic. We at the café feel we have been unfairly treated as there was no discussion with the local community prior to the tender going public.
Please help us to stop this tender process and safe our café for the people of Whiteinch and beyond.

The café was a lifeline to my social skills which I hadn't any left when I was a drug addict who 3 and half years ago was a full blown heroin addict. The café was a benefit to the Whiteinch community and I actually travelled from renfrew to meet with other like minded people who were in same situation as me.
Can't thank the staff here enough for the warm welcome and affordable meals that I received when I was at my lowest and needed it most.
The community would not be the same without teapots cafe. It provides a place for people of all ages to go and get in out of the cold and for a tasty meal or for a catch up. It has became a staple for those who engage in the gym classes and computer courses and it's presence would be greatly missed.
Teapots cafe does an amazing job for the community; it's terrible that souless contract catering companies are taking over these hubs to benefit nobody but greedy corporations - leave Teapots as it is!!
This cafe has been the heart of the community, it's not just a cafe,it's a safe haven for many,myself and my family, Theresa took my son on just as he came out if school to make him the hard worker he has become as a man.........oh I could go on and on about what that cafe has done and should continue to do so
This is a great place for every one to have a cupa a chat extra keep this place open, lovely staff lovely great people who make this, may i add to close this place a lot will be upset & this is a lovely cafe for every one to meet up, lovely wonderful staff

The staff are very friendly and have built the cafe over the last 10 years. The elderly that go feel safe and most of them enjoy going to the teapots cafe as it only chance of them getting out of their home. To shut it down will be devastating to the community
