The staff are very friendly and have built the cafe over the last 10 years. The elderly that go feel safe and most of them enjoy going to the teapots cafe as it only chance of them getting out of their home. To shut it down will be devastating to the community

This cafe is not just a cafe, it's a central hub for a deprived community. It brings people who have very little to their names together and the community thrives because of it. There is not one person out there in the yoker, Clydebank and scotstoun area who do not know of this great wee cafe, it's a major part of the community centre and would be a massive blow to the local economy if it were to close, please reconsider this and keep the cafe open!

I have serious concerns and lack of confidence in the Whiteinch Centre Ltd
current Committee members who are supposed to be representing the people of whiteinch who fought for this community centre to be built and had vast input in raising the funding for it to be built on behalf of the community. I am astounded that this current committee of the WCL have allowed or are going to allow a stranger whom we feel has no current Knowledge or Understanding of the history of Whiteinch and why the Centre was built or the input that Teapots Cafe has given over the last decade to make the Whiteinch Centre and Cafe the vibrant Hub of the local community. The way Theresa Arneil are being ostracised from the rest of the Whiteinch Staff and the way she has been treated by the current Committee of the Whiteinch Centre is disgusting especialy as the current acting Chairperson approached her when she was on her own and told her her face did not fit any more and told her on another occassion when she was on her own that he had stopped legal action being taken against her in relation to starting up a petition to stop any tender in relation to the Cafe ?? Theresa was also informed by individuals within the Rev Alan McWilliams (Chairperson WCL) Congregation that they should refrain from signing any petion raised by Theresa Arneil in case any legal action could be taken against her. I raise concerns that this tender has not been put in place for the best interests of the Whiteinch Centre but a witch hunt to oust the current Cafe Proprietor Theresa Arneil because she has always been prepared to stand up for the rights of the community and has put the people of whiteinch before everyone even her own business based within the Whiteinch Centre,s Premises.
