We, the undersigned, encourage local, state and federal officials and relevant agencies to protect the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and vicinity from the negative impacts of non-rural development, and to preserve and enhance the conservation and recreation opportunities for which the NCA was created.
Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb that often felt like it was going nowhere. Seeing this growing support reminds me why I started this fight even when my hope was running thin.

Ten thousand of you have signed on to keep Red Rock rural. My eyes are tired from staring at this screen but knowing there are so many people fighting for this land keeps me going.

Reaching one thousand signatures feels heavy because it confirms how many of us see our landscape vanishing. This road ahead looks long and exhausting but knowing I am not alone keeps me moving.

Hiked there, stunning natural place that is a gem worthy of not building a cookie cutter subdivision like every suburb in the USA. Be unique and different and we will come back and spend, visit and recommend to our friends. Thats sustainable growth.

Noise, lights, cars, foot traffic......all these and more are very harmful to the wonderful wild habitat that we have preserved as Red Rock Canyon. We charge admision in order to limit impact. For all the same reasons, we must avoid perimeter impact.

Rhodes bought the mesa property with rural zoning. He already has a right to build, but the zoning density won't bring him profits that are huge enough for his liking. Now he's spent over a decade bullying the entire state to get his way. Enough!

If further encroachment of the Las Vegas suburban sprawl hell reaches the Blue Diamond Mesa, I will cease spending my free time and money recreating in the wild spaces of Red Rock NCA.

As someone who has lived in and plans to move back to Vegas, I am deeply troubled by the lack of protection for this beautiful area. It should remain undeveloped so generations to come may enjoy the nature. Summerlin is already pushing the limits.

This place has many memories from my childhood and now I am creating those memories with my child. This also has been my escape my freedom run and my zen time. Do not take this away. Its not just a canyon, its a place that has a piece of our hearts.

As an original and returned NV resident, I do not approve of my taxpayer dollars being spent on a project that will disrupt the wildlife that resides in the rural Red Rock area.
