As an original and returned NV resident, I do not approve of my taxpayer dollars being spent on a project that will disrupt the wildlife that resides in the rural Red Rock area.

Being a resident of the area for 30 years, I have seen massive changes, most of which have not been beneficial, but I believe Save Red Rock and supporters provides that beacon of hope and responsibility.

Red Rock Canyon is for all of us to enjoy and marvel over natures beauty. We have massive amounts of new homes and apartments built. We have other homes that are for sell or need to be updated. We don’t need to ADD to this inventory! We have water mandates and existing homeowners are being forced to get rid of grass to help with water usage yet Gov’t keeps allowing more homes/apts to be built! Red Rock isn’t for sell!! Please keep our national treasure the way it is. Don’ allow greed to guide your decisions.

I’ve traveled here to Vegas for hiking at Red Rock over the years. Good-bye to that if housing goes in. Treasure this sacred place!

Is there really a reason imaginable that protected lands around Red Rock should be sold for private development, aside from the greed of developers and anyone uncaring enough to want what they want, and be willing to overlook the interests of the public and the sanctity of the land to get it?

There is plenty of unprotected land out there. Don't develop what little public land we have. Don't let greed win.

Public Lands belongs to All People. The value of Public Land is not just what you can dig out of it, harvest off of it, or fish from it. Public Lands are used for industry, food production, recreation, solitude, better health, self-care, reconnecting to the world around us. We absolutely need wildness around us, we need to conserve what is important to our health and peace of mind, not just for us as humans, but for all living creatures and plants that call Public Land home. We the people are the visitor to these areas, and we need to respect them! Do not repeal the Public Lands Rule, conservation is as important as all other uses.

And now every day we are giving food to them. Why this is happening? Because they have been displaying from their habitat.
