Porkies is officially staying open and it really comes down to the 127 of you who refused to walk away. I am still honestly a bit in shock that we pulled this off together. Let's make sure we keep showing up for them now that the doors are staying open.

Don't cripple small business. Reward the enterprising and remove the unnecessary red tape. Making use of the underutilised nearby car park will add to the safety of the area. Bringing new family friendly dining options will add to the vibrancy.
Some research leads me to conclude that most of Bayswater is a quite pleasant except the area around the railway station, which needs enlivening. Bayswater Council should be supporting those entrepreneurs bold enough to bring life to the area and approve Porkies planning application without delay.
Don't let parking be a reason to block a great new eating place to open. Look at "yelo" at Trigg, parking for about 6 cars only, but it works and it's super busy!
We want this restaurant To go ahead . My husband and I can catch the train from Como to go to the restaurant as I am sure many others would do so.
My husband, son & I will ride our bikes there! We are so excited about having something like this in our very own suburb. Please let Baysie be cool enough to have this!

The parking decision is ridiculous. The site is right by a train station. And us locals will walk. Or bike. It's not always about driving. Think green. Think of the community. Think ahead. This family restaurant is a great idea. So support the people who love our area...the people who support you. Say yes to Porkies
