Please sign this petition if:

-You do not wish your HOA dues to be spent litigating against a LEGAL and impermanent tree house for 5 and 7 year old children.

-You want your dues to go to positive and constructive projects that all homeowners benefit from.

-You want Crocker Highlands to be a family friendly neighborhood, not one with a litigious and hostile HOA Board.

Thank you all! In order for your vote to tally, you need to validate your account. You should get an email from IPetitions. I believe you need to click on this link. They do this to make sure one person doesn't vote many times. Until you validate, your vote doesn't get added to the total count.

Is this actually happening because I just checked the total and my jaw is on the floor. I really thought the board would just ignore us but look at how many people are tired of this nonsense with the dues. Maybe now they will finally realize that we just want our kids to have a place to play without the lawyers getting involved.

The LHA Board should drop this case. It is a waste of LHA revenues. We should be spending our time and energy on improving our neighborhood, not alienating neighbors.

I have not seen the treehouse in question. That said, if it is tasteful and well constructed and implemented within the constructs of the neighborhood rules, why wouldn't we support this activity?? A family friendly, appealing and beautiful neighborhood is exactly why I bought my house here in 1999.

I am also an architect. I have tried to see the positive things that the LHA has done. But if what I understand about this story is true, then this effort is so misguided I am nearly speechless. I am interested in seeing the LHA put time and attention on neighborhood activities that are positive and community enriching.

if the c&r's allow the treehouse, to what end is the HOA pursuing the expense, diviseness, and pettiness by engaging a legal action which will cost a great deal of money of both sides? ultimately, the questionof whether legal action can even be pursued without a quorum homeowners' notarized vote?

Shocking! We have failed to get any HOA action on a 20+ year eyesore at 842 Grosvenor. Unlike this tree house, this home is a deteriorating building deminishing the value of our neighborhood!

I think the tree house is just amazing. What kid wouldn't want one like it. It isn't remotely a nuisance. Please do not use my dues to litigate against this. I consider it an irresponsible and wasteful use of dues money. Why not use it for something that actually enhances our neighborhood?

It is the duty of the HOA to represent the best wishes of the comming mitt. If the comming bury wants this the HOA should listen. If not, we can always change the HOA?
