The council just confirmed our school will stay open and our children can remain at home where they belong. I am beyond relieved that we have protected our island community. We must stay alert to ensure this promise is kept for the years ahead.

We just hit 500 signatures and I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you care about the future of our school. My own children deserve to grow up on this island without being forced away at such a young age. This number proves the council cannot simply ignore what we are facing.

how are little ones supposed to handle being in a hostel all week? they need their parents. leave the school alone.

7.30 is way too early for a child that age to be catching a bus. absolutely ridiculous.
this is crazy. 11 year olds shouldnt be forced to live away from home just to get an education. keep the school open, the island needs these families.
My oldest went through this and it was heartbreaking. Please dont make other families go through the same thing.
