To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario:
WHEREAS the Windsor/Essex Catholic District School Board has begun a process to consider closing St. John the Evangelist School;
AND WHEREAS St. John the Evangelist school is vital to the future well-being of the Woodslee hamlet and its' students;
AND WHEREAS Schools are not just buildings for learning, they are the heart of the community.
We the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows:
to take whatever steps are necessary, including boundary adjustments, to keep open and maintain the long-term viability of St. John the Evangelist school.
My kids go here and I dont know what we are supposed to do if this closes. Its the only school in town and the kids need to be able to walk to class. Keep our school open!

Woodslee will be a ghost town without the school. Stop closing down our rural communities to save a buck. This is ridiculous.
