Save the school bus service from Castlefinn to secondary schools in Stranorlar. Our entitlement to a full school bus ticket has been withdrawn and the school bus service will cease to exist. We are entitled to a full school bus ticket as we had since the 1960's.

I used to get that bus when I was at St. Columba's. It is an essential service to the whole Finn Valley community. I think it is inconceivable the families could live without that bus.
Stranorlar is the most straight forward route for our children to go to secondary school. Also our nearest Catholic Ethos school.
1960 this service could be funded and now 56 years later in 2016 it is to be withdrawn, what does this say about how this country is looking after its young people, where is progress here....
The bus has been going from castlfinn the Stranorlar for long as I can remember. Why change it now? Plus the Rd to raphoe is a disaster to take more buses on. Makes no sense.
My children were lucky enough to avail of this service and we would have been seriously disadvantaged if it had not been there with both parents working. Please reconsider and keep our children safe.

I was able to use this bus service when I lived in Castlefinn so why shouldn't the kids of today have the same privilege?
