Prince's Recycling Center has provided CRV recycling to residents and amateur recyclers for 5 years. Due to the alleged illegal behavior of a small number of transient recyclers who utilize the facility, the entire facility has recently come under attack. Rather than addressing the behavior problems in a solution oriented manner, some community members have put pressure on Prince's landlord, Dirk Stump, to evict Prince's Recycling. Mr. Stump needs to know that community members do recognize the value of a small scale clean and efficient recycling center in the neighborhood, and support the continued operation of this family owned small business. Please sign this petition asking Dirk Stump to rescind his eviction notice. Let's have dialogue among all stakeholders, including law enforcement, to allow Prince's Recycling Center to continue to provide a vital service, rather than displacement and eviction!

I am currently coordinating with the landlord to schedule a formal meeting regarding the future of the center. Your messages show just how much this facility means to our neighborhood.

We have a homeless problem - Not a recycling problem. Stand with Prince Recycling.

We need this recycling center, plus more on the penninsula, the OB-Pt. Loma area. We must keep it. (The homeless are not the problem....only the few physically & mentally sick, who need help, must get the help they need.

Where do they want us to put the recycling from our community ? If we have to drive 20 miles one way to recycle it kinda defeats the purpose in helping the environment, get rid of all the NIMBY fallacies being used against a job creating business

Personally I have been an employee of this establishment in the past and all I've seen it do for the community is improve it weather it be giving back to the earth through waste or symbolically helping the wasted to their feet me included don't destroy something that's giving back give back to growth and recycle

This facility serves an important purpose to the community. Don't punish the community for the actions of a few. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!

I support recycling. It’s wrong that this center is in jeapordy of closure because of social class differences. Anyone and everyone should be allowed equal opportunity to get their CRV refunded at a convenient location, which is what Prince Recycling is all about. The closure of the center would be a huge loss to the community. Please take the time to sign this petition, as it affects those who rely on the service, the employees who work there, and the community as a whole. Let’s work together and save Prince Recycling!
