This is a necessity for coed y paen school it is not a luxury and is potentially saving lives daily from high risk of danger. There are vunerable children using this facility on a daily basis. I know that my child would be a high risk without the facility. There is traffic from 3 ways being on a junction no child is safe without the lollipop lady in situ.

Ive stood outside Ystruth school gates for the past 16 years & the cars speed past there without a care for adults trying the cross let alone children. The children just run across the road without the patrol crossing & soon one will be hurt

My child goes to Deighton Primary. The plans are to have nobody there to cross our children. This is absurd, I cannot believe we have to petition about a service so vital and such icons of our community. Disgraceful.

The council say they want children to be more active and walk to school and then they want to take away the people that cross them safely. Completely crazy. The council should be ashamed of themselves.

Our school is the main route for factory traffic so we couldn't be without a lolly pop person to cross our children across the busy road.

Completley against this, far too much traffic on the roads these days to not have the facilities to safely cross children to and from schools. This service should be protected, it also gives parents peace of mind and encourages children to actively walk to school.

We really need our patrol ladies at coedygarn school to make sure our children are safe crossing the road especially at the top of parrot road as traffic come from all directions at speed n the bottom of parrot road is dangerous due to the parking situation no child will see any oncoming vehicles as the try and cross
