We feel that Speed Bumps are crucial to saving lives. Harvard Street is used by speeding commuters to bypass the traffic light on Watchung as well as to avoid the school buses picking up children. This "short-cut" for rush hour commuters causes cars to come flying down our one block street, which is filled with over 30 young children. Though we are excited to get a newly paved street, we fear that this would make it easier for people to go faster, causing it to be deadly for our youngest residents. Please consider adding Speed Bumps to Harvard Street.
People drive down Harvard Street so FAST, especially during the rush hour traffic . . . This small street is in NEED of Speed Bumps, it is used as a thoroughfare to the even speedier streets (Grove/Ridgewood) -- HELP!
