20th Swansea (1st Morriston) Scout Group need your help. Please help us save our Scout HQ which is under threat of being converted into dwellings. We have been a Scout Group for 100 years and at our present HQ since 1961. We want to stay here as a key feature of the local community

Seeing two hundred and fifty signatures for our hall is overwhelming because I spent so many of my own childhood years running through those same doors. It is hard to describe how much it means to know this building and our history still matter to so many people.

Seeing this much support for our home brings back memories of when I first walked through those doors as a young scout. The momentum behind this movement proves that our building remains the heart of Morriston after all these years.

People say children need somewhere to go and learn new skills. Scouts buy a building to allow this to happen. Building is in high use. Guy with money claims scout hut not being used. Guy with money needs to open his eyes. Scout hut is in use. Save the Scout hut.
Went to swansea for university and have been a cub, scout, venture and leader. Scouting makes a massive difference to young people's lives and should be supported in doing so. (Twelve men have walked on the moon, eleven were scouts)
I think it is appalling that a Scout Group dedicated to working with youth for the future benefit of society and has done for 100 years and formany years out of the current headquarters is under threat of eviction for pure profit. I believe that the current planning application should be turned down.
This is a community building so should not be subject for change of use. It is a community resource which has been in constant use for over 50 years. Unless another home is found for the Scouts they will lose everything!
Good luck with saving your Hq. As GSL of group owning our hq i understand how much time and effort will have been dedicated to support growth of young people over the years and how important scouting is to local communities.

Both my Grandchildren go here nothing like this by where we live please keep this open its good for all the children if you close they be just stuck in watching tv instead of doing something fun learning and even outdoors sometime PLEASE DON'T CLOSE

As a former Cub/Scout/AIR Cadet I can only call on you to prevent the loss of this facility. The experiences I had were instrumental in equipping me for the future. First as a police officer and now as a teacher. My son has recently joined Cubs. I would hate to see him miss out on what can be gained.
