As part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best opportunities for our Scouts, we have a fantastic idea to enhance their experience: transforming the abandoned field next to the San Ġwann Scouts HQ into a dedicated campsite and youth activity area!
This space could be a wonderful asset for our group and the wider community, offering a safe and versatile environment for outdoor activities, training, and events. However, to make this vision a reality, we need your help.
We’ve started a petition to urge the local council to consider this proposal, and your support would mean the world to us. Signing the petition is quick and easy, but it could make a significant difference.
Thank you for being part of this amazing journey with our Scouts. Together, we can create a space that fosters learning, adventure, and community spirit for years to come. The local council cannot ignore the momentum we have built for this field any longer. That abandoned patch of dirt is a disgrace while our kids have nowhere to go and we are going to keep the pressure on until they hand it over.

Honestly that patch of land is a disgrace to the neighborhood. Fix it up for the scouts and keep the area clean. About time someone did something!
That field is just a dumping ground right now. It would be so much better if the scouts could actually use it for something productive.
Great idea! The kids need more space to get off their phones and get outdoors. San Gwann definitely needs this.
YES PLEASE. My son is in the troop and they could really use a proper area for their camps. Hope this happens soon.
