we actually did it and the funding for peaks is officially staying put. im honestly just so relieved that we can keep skating and playing without worrying about the doors closing. thanks for sticking with me on this one.

Utah County Congress is threatening to pull funding for Peaks Ice Areana in Provo. Many people enjoy it's public skate sessions, hockey, figure skating, soccer and more. Please let your voice be heard and help save our rink

we just hit 1,000 signatures and i am honestly stunned. its getting harder for the council to ignore us now since so many people showed up for the rink.

i honestly cant believe how fast this has grown. seeing so many people come together to protect the rink proves just how much this place means to our community.

were moving fast on this one and its getting pretty exciting to see the count go up. lets keep pushing to hit that hundred mark because it shows the county we really mean business about keeping the rink open.

While this isn't our home rink, both my sons play games here at least once a month... we eat lunch, grab snacks and shop while we're down in Provo. And they are only 1 of 2 teams of 20+ kids. Not a good economic decision to close these rinks.
This facility is a staple to the community of Utah county. As a tax payer, peaks arena patron and lifelong Utah county resident, i an asking our elected officials to reconsider their decision to back out of thier arrangement with peaks ice arena.
I am a weekly hockey player along with all my kids. Every major county has access to a nice rink. If you close Provo, what are you saying about Utah County? If it's money, change the management. There is enough demand to support the facility.
My daughter was a competitive figure skater for several years, which brought our family to Peaks Arena. This is a wonderful facility that provides recreation, sport, community, health benefits, etc! Why would we lose such an asset???? Please!!!
I worked at 7 Peaks in high school as they were building the rink. Olympic Hockey games were played here! It has become a mainstay in the community! So many people depend on it for accelerated teams, beginning teams, and open skate for the public.
Do what's best for the community.!!!! Hello new Mayor????
I am taking figure skating class at BYU and this rink is the place I have this class.

I have countless fun memories that were created in this place. My brother and sister-in-law met there! As 5th and 6th grade teachers at a local school, we take our students skating there every year. It would be a true tragedy if funding was pulled!
