Did you know that your HBCU is in danger? As of September 30, 2019, funds for all HBCUs has expired and if congress doesn’t make a decision to expand this funding, this could start affecting you. Funding will only last until September 30, 2020. What this means for you is, that funding for education, STEM programs, teachers, and many other things will be cut from HBCUs. As a student at an HBCU, it is your right to stand up and ask Congress why and to tell them to save our HBCUs. Stand up for what is right and don’t let our HBCUs go down as a memory. Save Our HBCUs!
