We the undersigned strongly object to the development of the solar farm proposed by the company Invenergy. Located in close proximity to the communities of Frankton, Elwood, Alexandria, Dundee, and Orestes in Madison County, Indiana. These projects are highly visible, will NOT create lasting jobs, and WILL have a negative impact on:
- Wildlife
- Air Quality
- Water Resources
- Property Values
- Quality of Life
We emphatically believe a solar farm does NOT belong in our agricultural community on land that is intended for agricultural use and surrounded by single family homes!
Please help use send a message to our local government that this is not acceptable to the constituents of Madison County!

I have been in contact with three local zoning board members to formally request a public hearing on this development proposal. We are currently compiling documentation regarding potential property value impacts to present during these upcoming discussions.

Keep our farm land farm land. There are other areas in Madison county that doesn’t have shade and could be used for this solar park. Old DelcoRemy plants have vast empty parking lots. Keep the fertile farm land for crops please.
I don't agree with putting these solar panels up and taking away all of our farm land. They will destroy a lot of families livelihoods by taking away their land. We have other places these things can go up. We need to utilize those locations.
We do not want to see a massive solar panel field built right across from our son and his family home!!!!! Put it somewhere where there are not people so close!!!!
I live north of Orestes. I am very concerned about all the issues listed- especially the effect on wildlife (fencing) and the possible introduction of invasive plant species (shrubs around fencing).
I did not buy a house with land to look out and see solar panels everywhere. I want to be surrounded by corn, beans, tomatoes and peppers. This just makes my heart ache that people think this is ok. Those people are not directly affected unless its fattening their pockets.
No deal. It's bad for our farm land.
Say NO to Solar Fields! Btw... these ARE NOT farms. Farms raise and grow things. Solar Fields do kot!

Please consider the property value and quality of life of those who live adjacent to these panels. There is much concern about how it will affect wells, livestock, and gardens on these private properties.
