We respectfully request that the Board of Butler County Commissioners rescind the resolution passed on July 18, 2013 appointing Sheriff Richard Jones as the county dog warden effective September 29, 2013. We do not believe this action is in the best interest of the animals in Butler County.

Ridiculous decision. This is about money not the animals. Bad move butler county
This makes me so mad. Animals deserve people who specialize in their care not law enforcement just grabbing more power.
I have worked with these wardens for years and they are the best. They know the animals and the community. Dont fix what aint broke!
Keep our wardens! They actually care about the dogs. The Sheriff has enough to deal with already.
