The zoning board officially reversed the permit denial today. We will remain in contact with the department to ensure the new documentation is processed correctly.

Please consider signing this petition to save Miss Heather's Daycare located at 18 Harmon Dr! The zoning board has denied her Special Use permit to keep her daycare running! We need to keep her open because they are amazing people and they take such good care of our kids. They not only provide a safe place but an educational one as well. The kids are always doing something fun and learning new things. My 3 year old daughter goes there and loves Miss Heather and Mr Morgan. Please help us save this daycare!!

The increase in support has provided the leverage needed to secure a formal meeting with the zoning board representatives. Legal counsel is now reviewing the permit denial and we are drafting a formal response to challenge their decision.

They first steps to being high quality is becoming licensed and following permit laws. Taking a licesnsed providers rights away is a step backwards. Preventing licensing only increases illegal day cares. Please think about the children and families you are effecting by preventing good programs from operating.

Quality daycare is hard to find. And when you have one in your town that is in good standing with the state and has parents begging for her to be allowed to stay open just doesn't make good community based sense.

As a childcare provider myself, I would be devastated to lose my career and my families due to zoning. Having another location for daycare can be so costly and takes away from anything the children in care need. Please reconsider this choice, closing something that helps community members cab have some very negative effects.

If the city council applies unreasonable restrictions on child care programs they will find they do not have enough child care spaces for the city’s economy to be properly maintained, it literally will not work!

The people who used to own my phone number had it listed as a daycare that has since gone out of business. l cannot tell you the amount of phone calls we used to get (and sometimes still do) for people looking for childcare. Please keep them open so they can help fulfill this desperately necessary need and blessing to Lebanon!

My daughter has been with Heather since she was 6 Weeks old. She is almost 3 now. This her home away from home. It would devastate my little girl if we had to find a new day care. All of her friends are there and Heather and Morgan treat her as one of their own. The peace of mind it gives me to know she is with their family.

This is what's wrong with today... you have a perfectly safe and loving environment for children and people on a power trip want to take it away.
