Llanon's historic landmark is slowly losing its battle with the sea and is danger of being lost forever. We cannot let this happen.
We the undersigned are petitioning to save the Fisherman's Shed by moving it or re-building like for like, further up the field the field it currently sits in.
I really thought this might just be me staring at a wall for months but seeing the feedback roll in lately has been completely wild. It feels like this old shed actually has a real chance to survive if we keep pushing forward and honestly I am just blown away by the energy behind this.

This was a little haven for my brother at one time and he would always have a Welsh flag flying.

My mothers family are from Llanon and so was brought down on holiday from a baby and spent many wonderful hours on the beach there and one of the things I loved was seeing the Fisherman' shed, I don't know how long it's been there but I am 65 now and it's been there as long as I can remember, it's a large part of the history of Llanon

I'm sure that there are plenty of willing volunteers in Llanon who would help with this project I'm ready and willing :)

This shed is part of my childhood. As a family, we spent many summers in Llanon with our grandparents at Glenholm. I remember having a picnic there with my family and Aunty Dora. It used to be much further away. Please keep the hut.

We must save this historic landmark and meeting place for friends, neighbours and strangers who become friends.

My mum has childhood memories of the hut, so it would be very sad to see it go.
