No more oversized apartments on our small streets please. We choose to live in Kuringai because it is quiet and green. You are robbing us of this.
Ku- ring- gai streets, especially in Killara are already parked out due to narrow designs and high density buildings with out enough parking for residents, loosing this car park will clog already parked out streets such as Lorne Avenue.
Please don't desecrate the North shore with more development especially unit buildings.
I strongly support the petition to retain Culworth Avenue Carpark at Killara Station. Parking is already inadequate.
Every morning is a nightmare trying to find a spot near the station. If they sell this land we will have nowhere left to go. Leave it alone!

I support this petition to retain parking at Killara. It is already impossible to find parking around stations on the North Shore - due to lack of adequate transport such as transit buses to the station. In our area, these buses depart on the hour - which makes it impossible when you are working. Also, there are inadequate or no buses in the evening. Unless Council are prepared to put on buses to stop people from taking cars and reduce emissions - then don't rezone car parks! I thought Council's role is to plan urban development for its ratepayers not for pure greed. Obviously the Councillors and staff do not have to struggle to find transport options to get them to work - they fail to understand that most work is Sydney city centric. They have a car park ... we, the ratepayers have to struggle. Disappointing!!!!!!!!!

The current (elected) Councillors of Ku-Ring-Gai Council DO NOT have a mandate to sell foo the Culworth Avenue Killara Car park in order to pay for fancy accommodation for staff and councillors. They must not be allowed to get away with this RAID on a community asset
