The licensing board has formally rescinded the revocation notice. Jan Spate will retain her practice and remain open to all clients effective immediately. We will continue to monitor the regulatory filing process to ensure the transition remains finalized.

Jan Spate is an inspirational vet and person to the Hall community and surrounding areas who does not deserve to have her license revoked.
Speaking from personal experience she always puts the animal first no matter what the situation. She works tirelessly for the welfare of people's animals and beloved pets. She understands her clients on a personal level and makes every situation the best it could be.
She is loved by her clients, which has been shown by the ongoing support and dedication from the community to aid in keeping her practice running.
In today's society it's rare to come across someone who is so dedicated to the welfare of animals, whilst at the same time remaining so compassionate to everyone she helps.

Jan saved my horses life when sick with pneumonia and let me pay off the vet bill. She has since treated all my horses and always put the animal first. In a society where money comes first, Jan is the savoir to many animals when treatment can't be afforded.
Jan spate is an excellent vet, and a wealth of knowledge she is a community service that should never be taken away, she works enormous hours for the welfare of animals !!!! This needs to be taken to the media she shouldn't be bullied out of business
This amazing women has helped me so much with everyone of my animals ! If they shut Jan down so many pets will go untreated due to the ridiculous prices every other vet in the area charges - aged pensioners and low income earners just can't afford it
Nooo!! You have no idea how much Jan is needed!! This lady is amazing with animals, after our pup was attacked, she assisted us at 8.30pm on a Sunday night THEN offered us $500 towards our surgery bill with another vet! Who does that!!
Me and my animals would be lost with out her when I've had other vets tell me to put my animal down Jan saved she is an amazing lady and vet I keep moving I'm an hour half away from her but I would rather travel to her than go anywhere else

For over 10 years Jan has always been there for my family and our pets. She is a true local hero and deserves to be treated as such. I sincerely hope the Vet Board can see how devastating it would be to the community if we were to lose her.
