This has been done with minimal consultation and without any face-to-face discussions with the loyal supporters concerned.
Furthermore, the essence of a "Singing Section" immediately calls into question the support of the current fans. It's therefore an enormous insult to people who have spend £000's following their beloved club and have sung themselves horse in the cause.
The implementation of a "Singing Section" will generate mockery from opposing fans whilst simultaneously legitimising their current chants about Old Trafford's atmosphere.
Surely, if Manchester United want to portray desperation and manufacture atmosphere they could put the Tannoy on for 90 minutes..?
It's all truly cringeworthy, it lacks a mandate and those who are being affected deserve an awful lot more!
Please consider how you would feel if you were displaced from your seat, separated from friends/family and more than likely cast into the upper tiers... let's not let this travesty happen!

I'm not for or against the singing section. But to simply just kick fans out of their seats they may have had for years is wrong.

What ever happened to the idea of putting away fans in north stand tier 3? Stick them up there and give the singing section the L stand

No need to kick people out their seats. Poor show. Singing section could go somewhere else .
What a way to make us even more of a laughing stock...Should NEVER happen, doesn't improve atmosphere creates more segregation as it creates a mentality of an away group of fans

As a stretford end season ticket holder for the past 5 yrs I don't understand why Utd feel the need to do this. Respect the fans and find out what THEY really want. I for one will not be relocating nor did I when the option was there.
