I spent the morning walking through the halls at Gateway and thinking about how much these classrooms mean to my kids. The administration is still dodging our requests for a real conversation about the closure plans. Your stories are keeping me going while I push for the answers we deserve.

Seeing this level of support for the halls where my own children grew up makes me feel like we actually have a fighting chance. It is clear now that the community refuses to let our school fade away without a real battle.

Gateway is the best thing about this neighborhood. If they move the kids we lose the heart of this place.
please dont destroy this community. gateway has been here forever.
Fix the budget somewhere else!! dont take it out on the students
My oldest went here and now my boy is a freshman. You cant just close it down and expect these kids to be okay with it. leave our school alone!
this is a bad idea. my kids love their teachers and the programs are actually good.
