We, the undersigned, call on you to reject plans to demolish FESA House, an acknowledged architectural masterpiece and well-known landmark in the City.
FESA House is an outstanding example of Brutalist architecture, one of the few in this City. Demolishing this building will be a repeat of 1960s/70s demolition of unprotected architectural gems which we now rue.
FESA House, in its current configuration could be accommodated within the plans to develop the site as a hotel, and would be a unique development, a boutique hotel that would become an iconic attraction, part of the world class city so many people are working to create here in Perth.
Please, before it is too late, we urge you to intervene and ensure that this marvellous building is saved.
