My name is Geoff Deakin I am a tattoo artist and I own feel the steel tattoo in Richmond NSW Australia. I have owned and run feel the steel tattoo for the past 7 years, a studio I built from nothing into one of western Sydney's finest custom tattoo studios. A studio I have been forced to close.

NSW Fair Trading and the NSW Police Commissioner have found me an unfit and proper person to hold a NSW tattoo license. The licensing and laws bought in to get OUTLAW MOTORCYCLE GANGS in 2013. These laws while justified and needed to get bikies out of our industry, I am in no way a member or even associated with any OUTLAW MOTORCYCLE GANGS.

My refusal to be granted a tattoo license was based on a criminal conviction from 2009. A conviction I have already received punishment for, yet 6 years later the government now feels I need to be punished again, not only me but my family and also my employee. Paulie and his family

This is unjust punishment by people that obviously have no real insight in the tattoo industry. My passion is tattooing and for the past 7 years I have dedicated myself to building Feel the Steels reputation as a quality custom tattoo studio, the refusal to grant my licence and the closure of our doors with 7 days notice not in the best interest of the community as stated by Fair Trading. We are a community based business
