Eun Young is an amazing person who has catered to the needs of the people at 3401 West End for nearly 30 years. She was raised in the food industry; her parents owned a restaurant. Eun Young has been nourishing employees at 3401 since 1991, when a family friend told her of the opportunity in this building, a little café for sale, and it piqued her interest. It did not take her long to realize that this was the perfect place for her.
Since then, she has built relationships with the people who work here, and even stays in touch with people who don't work here anymore. People walk over from Crystal Terrace to see her and order off of her menu.
Eun Young started out with a pretty basic menu. She likes her menu due to the fact that it is catered towards her customers' needs and wants, but her menu does not require a kitchen. She feeds many regular customers, she usually knows what they want before they even tell her, and she can memorize 10 orders at once! Lots of customers are between meetings and in a hurry, with no time to run out for lunch – we love that Eun Young's café is so convenient.
She's kept her prices reasonable and she is willing to make changes to her menu when customers request them. She is also willing to start taking credit cards.
She knows her space needs a facelift. She's willing to bring in new equipment, remove older pieces, paint, etc. She understands that the building is old and Highwoods is slowly making improvements and upgrades.
Eun Young serves everyone in this building with good food, good service and good humor, which is why she's so loved. She has served four different owners and wants to stick around for many more years.
Highwoods, please keep her café open!

The days have been long and the weight of this fight is starting to show on me. We are nearly at two hundred and fifty signatures and I need you to push this forward right now so we show them we are not going anywhere.

I have spent this week meeting with management to explain why this shop is essential to our daily lives. They are not making this easy for us but I am not planning on walking away from the table yet.

Eun Young is a wonderful, friendly person with a delightful sense of humor. She handles lunch rush with exceptional prowess (heck, half the time I forget what I ordered much less remember a dozen or so). I don't see the value in replacing her with some impersonal, assuredly higher-priced venue.
Eun Young is friendly, funny and serves good food fast with a great attitude. Highwoods would be doing a great disservice to their tenants at 3401 and elsewhere by not renewing her lease. Please reconsider this ill-advised and obviously unpopular decision!
I've been a regular customer for the last 3-4 years and I am one of those who walks over from Crystal Terrace. It is great to have a convenient place to grab breakfast, lunch or a snack. Please keep Eun's shop open.
PLEASE PLEASE keep Eun in 3401! She provides an invaluable services and is such an amazing person. How many people do you know that would let customers run a tab and pay out their bill every week or so!?
We need her! How convenient is this to have food inside the building?? She has good, hot food and things everyone likes. Food Trucks cannot replace Eun. Please let her stay. What is up with trying to throw her out???

I've been going to her shop since 2001. She's incredibly fast, and often handles 8 to 10 orders at a time. The quality of the food is very good, prices very reasonable, and her compassion for her customers exemplary. She's a friend to many of us.
