The increased attention this petition has received has forced the planning committee to acknowledge our position. My goal is to use this momentum to secure a formal seat at the next budget review meeting.

Swimming and diving is the only thing we do at CCC....we want to continue doing both!!!
please reconsider keeping the diving boards. This is what makes CCC pool different from our personal pool. Also, if there are no diving boards does this mean there will no longer be a dive team for the kids?
Diving Boards are a necessity for a country club pool. I believe they are the #1 attraction for all ages from elementary school aged children to high school to adults. I agree that it will make Colonial pool seem inferior to all other country clubs around, especially Rivercrest.
I can't dive, but my two girls can after their time spent on the Colonial diving team. Every end of the swim season (as an added bonus) all the Mom's dive to show off for the kids. We will loose these fun traditions! All of the other Clubs have diving boards. The diving boards add an element of fun and entertaiment for our pool. Members of all ages line-up to jump and try their diving tricks. These memories are so important. I hope you will consider keeping our diving area.
I believe it is so important to have a diving board area included in the new pool. Diving boards add fun for all ages. I understand they will keep a slide, but really that is more attractive to the littler kids and the pool amenities will not be able to grow with our children. In addition, I think it would be a disservice to future membership opportunities and image of the club. It will look sub-par compared to other clubs with boards.

diving boards are excellent when monitored properly. We need to have the option!
