We have to prove that the track bed behind Pegasus Club has been walked within the last 20 years.

The area the track bed sits on is under threat from Thurrock Council planning team who could use the land as an extension of Pegasus Club.

The other end of the Corringham Light Railway track bed within Shell/Vopak land in Coryton is now totally unreconisable on Google Earth and is lost in the trees,

We want Shell/Vopak to allow The Corringham Light Railway Society access to Coryton station to access the situation there at present.

Without these assurances that the track bed in it''s entirety is safe and that part of the track bed will be turned into a Heritage Walk and cycle track then the future for the track bed is uncertain and it means that we have lost the link to a line that was once our only route onto the marshes.
